AdoptMeTV was founded by a media professional who understands the power of imagery and it’s ability to capture attention, evoke emotion and create connection.
Every year, approximately 6.3 million dogs and cats enter animal shelters across the United States. About 4.8 million are adopted, while hundreds of thousands are still euthanized annually.
Dedicated volunteers, rescues, and advocates work tirelessly to help pets find homes through social media, adoption websites, and community outreach. Those efforts are invaluable, but they compete for attention in an increasingly crowded online world.
AdoptMeTV was inspired by photographing shelter animals whose unique personalities came through in every image—and realizing those moments of connection deserved to reach far beyond social media.
By sharing those stories on digital screens in local businesses, AdoptMeTV creates opportunities for people to discover shelter pets in the places they already visit every day.
Sometimes the next great connection doesn’t begin online.
It begins over coffee.
Waiting for a haircut.
Getting your car serviced.
Join the mission.
Changing the way people see shelter pets takes an entire community. Whether you adopt, foster, volunteer, become a host location, or support the AdoptMeTV network, every role creates new opportunities for shelter pets to be seen, discovered, and welcomed into loving homes.
You can’t buy love, but you can adopt it.
